Fake an Egg Carry Speed Guide

Compare loaded and unloaded trips on the same route. Use timed observations to estimate speed loss without inventing a weight or treadmill formula.

How can you measure carrying slowdown?

Time the same route without carrying an egg and then while carrying one, keeping the start, finish, upgrades and route unchanged. Repeat the pair if a turn, player collision or lag interrupts either trip. The calculator uses these times; it does not claim a verified internal movement formula.

For a fixed distance, speed is distance divided by time. Therefore the loaded-to-unloaded speed ratio equals unloaded time divided by loaded time. Subtract that ratio from 1 to get the fraction of unloaded speed lost, then multiply by 100 for a percentage.

Why is travel-time increase a different number?

Travel-time increase compares the added seconds with the unloaded trip time. Speed loss compares the lost speed with unloaded speed. Their denominators differ, so they should not be used interchangeably.

For an arithmetic illustration only, a 10-second unloaded route and a 20-second loaded route imply 100% more travel time and 50% less speed over that identical distance. These numbers are an example, not measured Fake an Egg values.

Does a faster time guarantee an escape?

No. A timed route does not model another player's starting position, speed, reaction, server conditions or abilities. Use the result to compare your own movement under consistent conditions, and keep pursuit outcomes separate from the measurement.

A treadmill-level-to-speed equation and weight penalty curve have not been verified. Entering a treadmill level into a guessed formula would create precision without evidence, so this tool asks for observed times instead.
